Fall Colors at the Cross

October 19 & 20, 2024, 10 am – 5 pm. Entry Fee: $5 per car, with payment at the gate. 

Bald Knob Cross of Peace is arguably the best location in the entire Midwest to view fall colors. It is the second highest point in Southern Illinois with a 270-degree view for miles over old-growth timber. Your participation in this event helps support our ongoing efforts to expand and improve the facilities and grounds at Bald Knob Cross of Peace. 

The event includes vendors and various family activities: bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals and other family activities. And don’t forget to get a family picture on one of our fall-themed photo sets, with the breathtaking scenery in the background.
